James sent this to me as a message instead of posting it here like he wanted. I'm just reposting his discussion:
People can be fooled. It is dangerous to get caught up in one sign. Some make a "religion" from something they have incorrectly quoted out of context from Scripture. Catholics have Mother Mary, confessions to a man and so forth. LSD, Mormons, yes even Baptists have expanded on God's Word.
Most Christians believe that they will be "raptured" before the anti-Christ has his season of 42 months even though Jesus makes it known through Paul in 2nd Thessalonians chapter 2 vs 1-5. Check it out.Revelation does a great job of explaining the order. I fear that when Satan (the anti-Christ) comes many will be fooled into thinking that he is Jesus and go with him not understanding and believing his lies.

If someone comes and proclaims himself to be the Christ, and some believe him, they can not voluntarily go and get raptured. The true Rapture, regardless of the timing, will happen "in the twinkling of an eye"
Accepting the antichrist would be a very bad thing, yes, but I think unwittingly falling prey to Satin's deception is significantly different than willingly, and knowingly abandoning and rejecting God in satin's favor.
Also I think the antichrist is not satin himself, but rather his sort of high priest.
