Everytime I have an appointment at the VA, I always take my mandolin and get other Vets sing along when I play. The doctors loves it. Now I am currently working on an outreach ministry to got to different VA hospitals, nursing homes and play and have good clean fun

Made my mandolin debut at church the other day when we played I Will Fly. The congregation was very complementary. I hope we starting playing more songs like that.

Welcome Dakota!!! I've played guitar and bass since the 70's and when I first picked up a mandolin 2 years ago, I could not believe how hard it was to play. I only do 2 songs, I Saw the Light (Dave Crowder style) and Battle of Evermore (not church music but a good mandolin song!) After I graduate college in Dec. I plan on getting more involved with music, its my way of worshiping Him.

I love to play and sing music, I play the panino, the guitar and recently starting picking up the mandolin, I play The tamberene which is quiet easy with rythem. I started playing the panino in 2010 I started by picking up a song book and doing, I want to know more about my Lord, I play by ear do I kinda put t all together and went from there and not play southern gospel and a little contemporary music. I was determined last summer I was gonna learn to play the guitar and I play that too. I play songs that I have wrote and some hymes. And I am now teaching my cousin how to play guitar and panio. I picked up the mandolin Christmas day of 2011 I was singing I would not be denied and it's best the only song Incan play with that.. I love music and I love to play and sng it. I'm glad I got to share.

I play guitar, bass and two songs on the mandolin but plan on expanding that. My favorite CCM to play is Newsboys, Casting Crowns, Lincoln Brewster (except for his solos, I'm toooo slow), Hillsong United, Kutless and anything new. Secular music, I basically stick to the blues. I know you can only play blues on earth because there is nothing to be blue about in Heaven.
